Abe urges Putin to ensure the cohesion of the cease-fire in Ukraine

                          


Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe urged Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday to play a constructive role in ensuring the cohesion of a fragile truce in the Ukraine. Katsonobo Kato said Chief Cabinet Secretary Abe said Japan expressed concern during bilateral talks on the sidelines of the summit of Economic Cooperation Forum for Asia and the Pacific (APEC) in Beijing that the actions of the separatist pro-Russian Ukrainians in the complexity of the situation. He told reporters that Abe "strongly urged" Putin to play a constructive role so that both sides abide by the ceasefire agreement. He added that Putin's response to explain Russia's position on this issue. It seemed the ceasefire in force two months ago in the Ukraine more vulnerable than ever before. He accused the Ukrainian army Russia on Friday to send the author of a column of 32 tanks and trucks full of soldiers to the east of Ukraine to support the pro-Russian separatists.
