Another game, another refereeing controversy in the NRL. The prelude to Greg Inglis' first try in South Sydney's win over the Roosters was riddled by two contentious calls that went against the reigning premiers.

IT was the biggest call of the match and the referee sided with the Bunnies. But was Luke Keary offside? And did Mini really knock on?
The Rabbitohs went up 24-12 midway through the second half after on-field referees Gerard Sutton and Ben Cummins awarded them an attacking scrum feed.

The ruling was a knock on against Anthony Minichiello after the Roosters’ fullback contested a bomb with several Rabbitohs players.
However, the evidence from the replay was unconvincing, with Minichiello possibly beaten to the ball by one of the Rabbitohs chasers.
Not only that, but Rabbitohs young gun Keary, who got involved in the play, looked to be half a yard offside when Adam Reynolds put the bomb up.
It was a massive moment, with the game on a knife’s edge, and the Rabbitohs leading 18-12.
And sure enough, the Bunnies took full toll, with Greg Inglis going in for the first of his two tries as the Roosters’ defence parted like the red sea behind the marker close to the line.
After that the result seemed inevitable, as a powerful Bunnies forward pack, which was already getting on top, smelled blood in the water and put their great rivals to the sword.
