Lovato, 22, invited her former flame up on stage in Los Angeles on Saturday to perform their Camp Rock hit, This Is Me.
The Really Don’t Care singer then shared a photo with Jonas on Instagram on Monday.
“Thanks @joejonas for the awesome surprise!!” she wrote.
Jonas, 25, also shared a picture and a short video from the event, calling the night “amazing”.
The former Disney stars called it quits in 2010, though they have remained friends.
“Now, I can, fortunately, say, that him and his brother have always been there for me, and are literally family, and like brothers,” Lovato told America’s Nightline last year.
“We have a great friendship. And we may not be as close as we used to be, but that’s OK.”
