RADICAL British preacher Anjem Choudary has been released by police after having been arrested on suspicion of belonging to a banned terrorist group but warned the air attack on ISIS will have an effect on the streets of London.
He was one of nine men arrested in dawn raids in Britain this week with more than a dozen properties searched by counter terrorism officers.
Even though he has not been charged, the 47-year-old has been given bail on strict conditions including a block on public preaching and overseas travel. He described his arrest as politically motivated to silence him ahead of the Westminster vote on air strikes against Islamic State.

“The British Government have pulled Britain into a very bloody war that will have manifestations on the streets of London,” the hate preacher, who once headed the now banned Islamist group al-Muhajiroun, warned.
Of the nine, three remain in custody and one has been charged with breaching a notification under the counter terrorism legislation and is to appear in court.
In an interview with News Corp Australia before his arrest this week, the firebrand Choudary said he wanted to see the whole of Europe under Sharia law particularly the UK and Spain, saw the public murder of a British soldier Lee Rigby in southeast London last year as justifiable and warned Muslim war with the West was likely to go on.
“Yes I do believe as long as root causes of why we had 9/11 and 7/7 (London bombings) then you will have a similar scenario, so cause and effect,” he said.
“If you occupy Muslim land, if you denigrate against Muslims like in Guant?namo Bay and places like Abu Graib (prison), if you bring in laws to arrest innocent people and take away their passports, if you use propaganda to insult the messenger Muhammad like you do in Denmark
and others then Muslims will retaliate. The difference is the Muslims love to die for Allah. You love life, you love your life too much, nobody wants to die … Muslims love to enter the battlefield, they love to leave everything behind. You will be defeated and we will implement Sharia law.”
He said Indonesia and Malaysia saw the “beauty” of Sharia law without being conquered as did Spain for 800 years before the Christians forced the Muslims out in the 13th century.
