The second round of talks between the Egyptian, Ethiopian and Sudanese irrigation ministers regarding the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam concluded Friday, with a third round scheduled within a month. They agreed to short-list seven consultancy firms to undertake the dam’s hydrological and socio-environmental studies.
